Beginning in December, a selection of showcase homes in Hawaii, Nevada, and Arizona will be presented to buyers from across the globe by a team of specialists from launch-to-close (generally 60 days or less). Formats for auctions are typically with or without reserve. This outreach will culminate with a live auction event to be held at the venerable Biltmore Resort in Phoenix Arizona during the car auction season that is in and of itself exciting and generates lots of energy and money potential. Bidding on marketed property will open digitally on January 29th through the Concierge Auctions online marketplace – conciergeauctions.com – allowing prospective buyers to participate in real-time from anywhere in the world. Auction basics are not complex, with sellers paying no engagement fees or marketing costs, agents receiving full commission and buyers paying the premiums. The properties themselves are generally unique and often in a vacation destination and/or a challenging market. Many buyers have already experienced some kind of auction and therefore have a ready comfort level and are vetted buyers; whereas sellers like the fast paced timing of a sale that they have control over. So it is a win-win experience.
The January sale will garner exposure via a global database of more than 550,000 high net-worth buyers. Ideal candidates are non-distress properties and sellers, who value the urgency and assurance they deliver. Proven success at last year’s auction at the Phoenician Resort for example, offered up records for highest sale prices and brought in more than 140 registered bidders from all over the world. A sampling of last year’s Concierge Auction Arizona featured properties with a sale that brought in $15,680,000 and another one for $7,315,000 in Paradise Valley that was viewed digitally and up close before being sold. Another Paradise Valley property auction example resulted in a $3.7M sale, while two recent auctions of land lots, one in Paradise Valley for $850,000, and the other for $775,000 in Scottsdale, were Private Client Group auction presentations.
