Hyde Bellagio — The Exhilaration Flows
Recreated in the opulent spirit of a Renaissance villa, Hyde Bellagio is the first nightlife venture in Las Vegas by renowned hospitality leader sbe.
Designed by visionary Philippe Starck and Gulla Jonsdottir of G+ Design, the 10,000-square-foot entertainment destination at Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Boulevard South, features Italian marbles, reclaimed woods, chandeliers, towering glass doors that lead to a Tuscan garden and an expansive terrace showcasing the landmark Fountains of Bellagio.
“Hyde is situated on the 50 yard line of the world-famous fountains — the closest you can get and the best view as well,” says Bill Kennedy, director of Marketing and Programming for the venue and sbe Nightlife Group. He notes that the centerpiece is the spectacular circular VIP booth suspended over Lake Bellagio.
Hyde Bellagio is open nightly, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
At 5 p.m. daily, Hyde Bellagio opens as a lounge, featuring an exclusive early-evening experience, highlighted by an award-winning mixology program and gourmet small plates from the Maccioni family’s Circo. Featured are more than 1,500 wine bottles and signature cocktails such as the Cucumber Watermelon Margarita and the Love Unit.
Then, as evening turns to night, Hyde Bellagio evolves into Vegas’ hottest nightlife destination, with 40 VIP tables, a rotation of DJs and live performances. Every Tuesday, Hyde celebrates its “Lost Angels” industry-insiders night, delivering stylish LA sounds.
The lounge/night club offers a variety of entertainment. Every Monday night, for example, the staff drops the giant screen and adds five extra-flat screen monitors for the nighttime football games. A special game-time light-fare menu is offered as well as football-inspired beer and drink specials.
“It is without a doubt the best place to watch a game in Vegas,” Bill says. “People have no idea that we have this type of technology and show sporting events and other major events like The Oscars and Grammys. Our Big Game party is hands down one of the best in Vegas!”
Bill and crew open and close different areas of the lounge and club depending on crowd flow. The entire space is open only on club nights: Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, beginning at 10 p.m. “Oftentimes the party will rage till the sun comes up. Our DJs are the best in open format and play high-energy dance music that everyone seems to love.”
Backdropped by the lights and neon of the strip and the fountains, this is also one of the most romantic settings on Earth. “Since we have opened, countless people have proposed marriage at our prime patio tables,” Bill notes. “It’s not uncommon to see someone drop to a knee and ask their interest for their hand in marriage. The crowd loves it — especially when they say ‘yes’!”
Hyde Bellagio has options for everyone. “You can start the night in the lounge or on the patio next to the fountains sipping in one of our signature nitrogen-infused cocktails,” Bill says. “You can bring a date before the show and enjoy a martini and munch on some amazing food. You could come after dinner and digest while listening to live music.
“Stick around long enough and watch the space transform into a world-class nightlife destination with our top talent, performers, entertainment and a sound-and-light show.”
