Scottsdale Jean Company – Unparalleled Apparel

Scottsdale Jean Company has created another perfect fit with the recent move into The Shops at Gainey Village.

After more than six years in their original location at The Northsight Crossing Center in North Scottsdale, Arizona’s largest independently-owned retailer of men’s and women’s designer jeans and clothing is now in the luxe boutique and restaurant center, 8787 N. Scottsdale Road, #124, on the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch Road.

“I searched everywhere for a prominent retail center that had the appropriate upscale image and tenants, which would be convenient for both our existing as well as new clientele,” says Steven Koeppel, who co-owns Scottsdale Jean Company with his wife, Laura.

Scottsdale Jean Company offers more than 80 of the hottest brands of designer jeans and clothing for women and men, including jeans, tops, tees, dresses and shorts. The store is also the only independent retailer of Kiehl’s skin care products in the Phoenix market.

In addition, the Koeppels and their outstanding staff have added a full sunglass shop, representing such brands as Gucci, Carrera, Ray-Ban and other popular brands expected shortly. Shoppers will find, too, an excellent selection of handbags, jewelry and accessories.

“As a destination retail establishment, our customers seek us out for our unbeatable selection for women and men and exceptional customer service, featuring experts trained in finding the right size and style for any body type,” Koeppel says. “Our size, unmatched selection and customer service has kept our clients coming back again and again, and their referrals are always our best source of advertising.”

The couple opened the store in 2005 after relocating from New York, where Steven was the operating partner of a chain of new and used car dealerships in Queens and on Long Island. After selling the last dealership in late 2004, they headed west.

“My parents were snowbirds here and became full-time residents after we left New York,” he says. “I would visit often with my family and talked often about moving here someday. That day came much sooner than we had anticipated.”

Some of the many brands carried at Scottsdale Jean Company are Hudson — with the new space containing one of the first in-store Hudson shops in the country — AG, Paige, Joe’s Jeans, David Kahn, James Jeans, 7 for all Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, True Religion, Miss Me, Rock Revival, Bailey 44, Sky, Wildfox, Michael Stars, Splendid, Michelle Jonas and Taverniti. Long-inseam jeans up to 37 inches are available in abundant supply. And, new merchandise arrives every day.

Scottsdale Jean Company’s trained fit specialists are experts at finding the correct size and style for each body type. “We are complimented each and every day on our service and knowledge,” Steven says. “Most people consider shopping for jeans an unpleasant experience, but we make shopping for these and other fashion items a completely pain-free and enjoyable experience.”

Scottsdale Jean Company also has a children’s play area: “We know how difficult it can be to shop with children along, but we’ve made that a thing of the past,” Laura says. “And, just in case your spouse or significant other isn’t in the mood to shop, we now have a customer lounge area for them, too.”
